DMCA Policy

Overview

TempEmailInbox respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement.

As a temporary email service, we do not host user-uploaded content. However, emails received through our service may occasionally contain copyrighted material sent by third parties.

Important Notice

TempEmailInbox is a receiving-only email service. We do not control what emails are sent to our temporary addresses. Emails are automatically deleted according to user-selected retention policies (from 10 minutes up to permanent, as long as users maintain balance). If you believe copyrighted content was sent through our service, please note it may already be deleted.

Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice

If you believe that content available through our Service infringes your copyright, please submit a DMCA notice containing the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work - Describe the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  2. Identification of the infringing material - Provide specific information to help us locate the material (e.g., email address, date/time received).
  3. Your contact information - Include your name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  4. Good faith statement - A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Accuracy statement - A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  6. Signature - Your physical or electronic signature.

Where to Send DMCA Notices

Please send DMCA notices through our Contact Page with the subject line "DMCA Notice".

Please include all required information listed above. Incomplete notices may not be processed.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was wrongly removed due to a DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification containing:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake
  • Your name, address, and telephone number
  • A statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district

Repeat Infringers

TempEmailInbox will terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Due to the temporary nature of our service and automatic deletion of emails, repeat infringement through our platform is unlikely.
